We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Service Department Receptionist to be the friendly first point of contact for our busy Service Department. This position is ideal for someone with experience in automotive service administration or reception, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service.

As the Service Receptionist for Pacific Gympie you are part of the Pacific Gympie Dealership Group with 3 dealership locations between Gympie and the Sunshine Coast and you will have access to all of our brands such as GWM, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Honda, Renault and JAC. The Pacific Gympie dealership group is family-owned and has been operating for over 20 years in the Gympie and Sunshine Coast region and provides jobs to over 90 people locally. You will be joining a friendly, and positive team who are passionate about all things automotive, achieving exceptional customer satisfaction and achieving high results.

About the Role

As our Service Receptionist, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers have a seamless experience from the moment they arrive. You'll work closely with our Service Advisers and Technicians to coordinate bookings, manage calls, and support the day-to-day running of the department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers and managing service enquiries
  • Booking and confirming vehicle services and repairs
  • Coordinating customer drop-off and collection times
  • Managing incoming calls and emails professionally
  • Assisting with repair order processing and invoicing
  • Providing administrative support to the Service Manager and Advisers

About You

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Experienced in reception, customer service, or dealership administration (automotive experience highly regarded)
  • Friendly and professional with excellent communication skills
  • Organised and efficient, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident with computers and dealership management systems (Pentana experience an advantage)
  • A genuine team player with a strong customer-first mindset
