NES Fircroftis seeking an experiencedElectrical Technicianto join the maintenance team of a major mining and resources operation on a permanent basis, working an 8/6 FIFO roster.This site-based role is ideal for a hands-onindustrial electricianwith solid experience inHV switchingandinstrumentation. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of both fixed and mobile plant, supporting production and maintenance objectives across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems for fixed and mobile equipmentConduct troubleshooting, fault-finding, and diagnostic analysis to resolve plant reliability issuesCarry out HV switching operations and ensure electrical systems meet operational and safety standardsSupport installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systemsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and plant availabilityMaintain accurate maintenance and inspection records within SAP or a similar systemAbout YouQualified Industrial Electrician with a valid Electrical Trade CertificateDemonstrated experience in heavy industrial or mining operationsCompetent in HV switching (training or authorisation preferred)Knowledge and practical experience with instrumentation systemsProficient in SAP or similar CMMS softwareHigh Risk Work tickets (Forklift, EWP >11m) desirableStrong safety awareness, teamwork, and communication skillsWhat's on OfferPermanent opportunity with a leading mining operatorWork on an established operation entering an exciting phase of developmentCompetitive remuneration and a supportive, safety-focused team cultureAccommodation, meals, and travel provided (travel in work time)
