About the role

As a Bread Baker at Fairbairn Bakery in Emerald, you will be joining a family owned business with over 70 employees and over 11 production team members baking in 3 production centres. We are looking for talented, reliable bread bakers to join our amazing team as we continue to grow this very successful business. We offer a generous salary and relocation allowance if required.

What you'll be doing

· Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to high standards

· Ensure consistent quality by following recipes and maintaining strict hygiene standards

· Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with ordering supplies

  • Sunday to Thursday and rotating every 3rd weekend shifts shared

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Baker
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices and equipment
  • Energetic passion towards baking and providing amazing quality products to the community, wholesale and tourist customers.
  • Very trustworthy and reliable person able to work unsupervised
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
