We are seeking a keen and motivated person to join our warehouse and production facility located in the Northern Suburbs, Melbourne, VIC. This position is hands-on and involves general stock control and warehousing duties. We manufacture high-quality, custom-built steel tilt doors and custom canopies, clad with a variety of raw materials, including timber and aluminum.

Training will be provided on all aspects of the role, and duties will include:

  • Maintaining and improving OH&S Standards
  • Control and monitor all stock - including all inward/outward inventory
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to stock control processes
  • Warehouse duties - including managing space
  • Ensure all records kept are always accurate and up to date
  • Communicate, develop and maintain successful working relationships with all office, mobile and subcontracting staff
  • Willingness to learn the fabrication of doors and parts including the use of welder and learning to clad.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

  • Attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of OH&S legislation and principals
  • Forklift License
  • Proven ability to supervise and pro-actively lead a small team of staff
  • 3-5 years minimum warehouse management experience, ideally in garage door or similar industry
  • Proficiency in windows-based computer systems
  • The ability to comfortably work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Proven communication skills
