Job DescriptionAECOM's GIS Team in Melbourne has a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven spatial systems Graduate to support a varied range of projects across the business.
This role is for an immediate start on our 2025 Graduate Program. Find out more about our early career programs.
How you'll make a difference
- Recent graduate with previous experience, or strong interest, in the application of GIS to Infrastructure Projects, Environment Approvals, Ecology. Earth Science, Environmental Science and demonstrated skills in managing work packages
- Support day-to-day GIS requirements including GIS analysis, desktop and web map production, field data collection systems, data management, technical software user support and troubleshooting.
- You will be a problem solver with a willingness to learn from our experienced team.
Working for a global organisation, this role will allow you to work with industry specialists from a range of backgrounds.

- Skills and knowledge in spatial information management, spatial analysis and spatial operations, cartography, Data conversion
- High level skills in ArcMap / Pro
- Exposure to ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, Survey123 for ArcGIS, Publishing of web maps and applications, FME Data conversion, 3D visualisation (Leapfrog / EVS), Server, Online or Enterprise (Portal), Python and AutoCAD/Civil 3D/ AutoCAD Map 3D.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor's degree in GIS of Spatial Science, Environmental Science or similar) – advantageous.
