TEKS Engineering is seeking a motivated Drafter to join our growing team in Burton. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience who is eager to build a long-term career in structural steel drafting.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Produce detailed shop drawings for steel fabrication

·       Work closely with engineers, project managers, and workshop teams

·       Interpret architectural and engineering plans

·       Ensure drawings comply with Australian standards and project specifications

·       Report directly to the Senior Drafter and receive ongoing mentoring and support

About You:

·       Completed or near completion of a drafting qualification (e.g. Certificate IV or Diploma in Engineering Drafting, or similar)

·       Basic knowledge of AutoCAD

·       Proficient in, or possessing strong working knowledge of, Tekla Structures

·       Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

·       Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

·       Excellent communication and teamwork skills
