Job Title:

Structural Steel Material Handler

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage and movement of structural steel within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Docking and unloading of goods from trucks
  • Loading and storing structural steel in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to management
  • Operating heavy machinery, including forklifts and gantry cranes
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, drivers and clients
Requirements:
  • 1+ years experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
  • Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 20kg and stand for long periods
  • Australian work rights and driver's license preferred
