Beefy's are seeking an enthusiastic Store Manager for our Cannon Hill store.

Beefy's is a well-established, Multi Award winning group of boutique Pie Bakery Cafes, with 13 stores across South East Queensland & NSW.

Our skilled and friendly team have an enviable reputation for excellence in customer service and high-quality product offerings.

Currently seeking an experienced Manager, with great organisational and team building skills and a demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience within the hospitality/food service/retail industry.
  • Display warmth and enthusiasm, with a friendly positive outlook and a can-do attitude.
  • Be able to bring the best out of the members of their team.
  • Be flexible, adaptable reliable and very much hands-on.
  • This position is based on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday (working every 2nd weekend). You will be required to work a range of shifts including opening and closing shifts, so you must be able to work varying shifts between the hours of 4.30am and 6pm.

Due to the early morning start times your own transport is essential.

The Store Manager's duties will include:

  • Ensuring excellence in Customer Service as the Number One priority
  • Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
  • Training, supervising, mentoring, developing and coaching team members
  • Management of stock including rotation, quality and minimising wastage
  • Implementing operational policies and effectively managing back office administration
  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety & Food Safety
  • Planning and managing rosters
  • Promoting a positive work environment that motivates team members to grow, be challenged and have fun

Essential Skills / Attributes:

  • Proven ability in leading, developing and mentoring a team ideally in a Food service, Cafe or Bakery environment.
  • Customer service focused, with the ability to engage new customers and maintain returning customer relationships.
  • Ability to achieve store Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ability to inspire, train, develop and motivate a team.
  • Highly organised with effective time management and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, reliable and honest.
  • Ability to build solid professional relationships within the store team and greater network, as well as with customers, suppliers and contractors.
  • Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 kgs.
