About the role

The Alcohol and Other Drugs Clinician, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, is responsible for completing assessments; developing treatment plans; report writing, advocacy; case management; counselling; providing trauma informed care, referral and follow up for clients seeking assistance with substance use problems. This may involve brief interventions, counselling, initiating and managing planned treatment options, consultation and referral to other agencies or crisis management.

You will be working with likeminded, professional client focused people who are dedicated to providing the best evidence-based treatment to clients.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 1700. Location is negotiable for Coonabarabran, Coonamble or Dubb.

Orientation: linked in with a mentor, 30, 60 & 90 day conversations – actions plan to look at identified training required.
