About the role

Southern Steel Supplies, part of the Southern Steel Group, is a leading provider of steel products and services across NSW. We are seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our Dubbo team. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering steel products to our customers safely, efficiently, and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Load and unload steel products safely and efficiently
  • Ensure materials are securely restrained during transport
  • Present to clients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist in maintaining your vehicle and complete required checklists
  • Adhere to all road rules, load, tonnage, and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Valid HC licence with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in steel distribution or warehousing (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of crane handling (advantageous)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
