About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Court Diversion Clinician in Dubbo.
In this role the clinician will provide specialist drug and alcohol services within court diversion programs (Adult Court and Magistrates Early Referral into Treatment) for clients presenting with substance use issues. Duties include provide evidence-based drug and alcohol assessment, treatment plans, report writing, case management and counselling services to patients accessing the MERIT and Drug Court programs. The position will be assisting with participants on the Opioid Treatment program. Assisting with OAT Clinics and working closely with their prescriber.
The successful applicant will possess interpersonal skills, cultural competence, self care, active listening, professional, client focused and be dedicated to their work.
This position is Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 17:00.
You will work with 7 like-minded staff, who are dedicated to providing the best evidence based treatment to clients. You will be well supported in this role and linked with a mentor, with monthly conversations to identify any further training required.
