Chef – Foglia di Fico (Melbourne, VIC)

Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 (plus superannuation)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes to a consistently high standard

  • Collaborate in developing innovative and seasonal menus

  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and oversee stock rotation and control

  • Work closely with the team to deliver an exceptional dining experience to guests

The Position Requires:

  • Legal right to work in Australia

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role (with references)

  • Full availability across a 7-day roster

  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen

  • Strong teamwork, organisation, and efficiency

  • Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and professionalism
