The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Estimator Engineer with infrastructure site experience and a solid understanding of geotechnical design. This is a unique role for someone ready to move off site and into a front-end, strategic position focused on securing major project work.

You do not need formal estimating experience; we are looking for a technically strong engineer who understands how infrastructure projects are built and can confidently engage with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with clients, consultants, and contractors to shape project solutions
  • Use your practical site knowledge to assess constructability and project risk
  • Prepare technical scopes, budgets, and support tender submissions
  • Identify new opportunities through your industry network
  • Collaborate with business development and operations to align strategies
  • Stay up to date with market activity, geotechnical innovations, and client needs

About you

  • Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Site-based infrastructure experience (civil, transport, or related sectors
  • Exposure to geotechnical design and ground engineering methods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive, commercial mindset with client-facing ability
  • Existing industry contacts in infrastructure (highly desirable
