About the role:
The Vice President, Technical & Construction Services plays a central role in defining and leading the technical, building services, and construction strategy behind Live Nation's expanding portfolio of venues across Australia and New Zealand. In this senior leadership role, you'll bring an accomplished and forward-thinking perspective to deliver innovative, world-class entertainment spaces across the region.
Reporting to the SVP, Venue Development ANZ, you'll provide both strategic direction and technical leadership to ensure every project is designed and delivered to exceptional operational, commercial, and sustainability standards. You'll lead functional briefs, construction management efforts, and technical system design, while ensuring seamless integration between design, build, and long-term venue operation.

This is a 12-month fixed term position, open to candidates based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
What you'll be doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement building services strategies that align with Live Nation's venue development goals across ANZ.
- Construction Management: Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contractor performance to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to world-class standards.
- Project Delivery: Prepare functional briefs and coordinate design, engineering, and operational integration for arenas and mid-size venues.
- Commercial Oversight: Lead development budgets, consultant scopes, and business case inputs to support executive investment decisions.
- Contractor & Consultant Management: Drive contractor selection, negotiate terms, and ensure alignment across cost, quality, and schedule.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key link between internal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive, high-performing outcomes.
- Innovation & Sustainability: Champion sustainable building services and technical innovations that enhance long-term venue performance.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive Experience: 10+ years in building services design, delivery, or project management within major commercial, sports, or entertainment venue projects.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and digital systems.
- Leadership Impact: Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams across complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Skilled at balancing technical detail with financial and operational objectives.
- Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to drive outcomes across diverse teams.
- Commitment to Excellence: A focus on safety, compliance, and sustainability throughout every phase of project delivery.
- Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering; project management certification (PMP or equivalent) highly regarded.
