About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Program and Alliance Coordinator to lead a vital service supporting vulnerable families, coordinate referrals, build alliances, and drive impactful outcomes in Mackay. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of children and families.
- Level 7 SCHCADS Award.
- Salary range: $119,094 - $124,074 + Superannuation.
- Full time, Government funded position until 31 December 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team to deliver high quality outcomes within a performance planning and development culture.
- Manage intake, referral, and engagement processes to meet output and outcome requirements.
- Conduct case consultations with team members.
- Collaborate with the Regional Intake Service, regional Child Safety staff, and other Family and Child Connect services regarding the development of the Family and Child Connect model.

About You
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Allied Health, Social Work, Human Services).
- Professional registration (if required).
- At least five (5) years' experience managing a multidisciplinary team in a similar environment.
- Highly developed knowledge of child protection issues and the child protection sector in Queensland.
- Experience and capacity to foster and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and the community.
- Cultural awareness and an understanding of how to communicate and work effectively with families from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver's licence.
- Legal ability to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required).
