The qualification you will achieve on completion is a certificate 111 in off-site construction & joinery.
We are after two apprentices currently with one being more on-site based than the other.
We are a small family business that believes that work needs to be a fun environment which we work hard to create. We enjoy each other's company which is particularly important to our culture.
Stair building is a rewarding career choice that never gets boring and it takes an elevated level of care & respect to master. As you are building something that is a permanent feature within someone's much loved home the level of finish that must be achieved is of the highest quality meaning you are not just another tradesperson you are a quality tradesperson.
Although we mainly do stairs we also do stud walls, renovation works, carpentry & other odd handy person jobs that sets you up to do many jobs around the home.
This job offers long term job security with both on-site & factory based sides of the trade.
We are after an apprentice that will be trained more for on-site work & the other more factory based.
Our importance is on your love of wood work & not if you have finished year 11 or 12 at school. You are required to have a basic level of mathematics.
Permanant resident of Australia with no visa restrictions only may apply.
Drivers license is preferred but if you are the right person we can accept not having one at the start but one must be obtained as soon as possible.
