Our New South Wales survey team provide a range of services to a diverse group of clients, from local developers and rural businesses to regional councils and the major mining operators. Based on our great relationships and continued growth, we are looking to bring on a Rail Surveyor based in Sydney, Central Coast or Newcastle areas.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in rail survey, be capable of managing your own workload and available to deliver efficient and accurate surveying techniques across a range of rail projects. Being able to communicate and more importantly enjoying a bit of banter is a plus.

About the Role:

  • Undertake a variety of survey tasks on rail projects including ARTC / Sydney Metro, Pre-works, Basic design and shutdowns.
  • Advising about technical survey matters
  • Able to generate Machine Control Data sets and assist in problem solving on GPS Machine control systems.
  • Managing documentation and communicate with other stakeholders and surveyors

Your background:

  • Diploma in Surveying minimum 5 years experience
  • Previous experience in rail survey
  • Experience using 12d software
  • Ability to work independent with minimal supervision
  • Good analytical skills to analyse data and produce results with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and capability to liaise well with all clients and other surveyors.
