**The Project**

CPB Contractors and DT Infrastructure in a joint venture have been successful in securing the $1.18 billion design and construction contract for the Warringah Freeway upgrade. This crucial upgrade will make the Warringah Freeway more efficient and reliable through upgrading four kilometres of the Warringah Freeway, between High Street at North Sydney and Willoughby Road at Naremburn, works also include connections to the future Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link tunnel projects.

The Warringah Freeway is one of the nation’s busiest and most complex road corridors and as Sydney continues to grow, the upgrade will make trips more efficient and reliable for the drivers who use it every day. Works are scheduled to commence late 2021 with the main work to start early next year. Construction is expected to take approximately five years to complete.

**Your opportunity**

We are currently looking to appoint Surveyors to support the Warringah Freeway Upgrade, based in North Sydney.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

- Ideally, over 5 years' experience as a Surveyor on a major civil construction project
- Certification in Surveying (minimum Diploma)
- Strong attitude and awareness of safety
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Competency in survey software packages such as 12d.
- Competency in CAD/drafting software packages such as Autocad
- Experience with current survey equipment and project survey operation requirements including total station, GPS, machine guidance and laser scanning technologies
- Ideally, experience working with subcontracted survey crews on a major construction project
- Knowledge of major project survey processes including survey control networks, detailed design survey, construction set-out, as-built survey, survey data management systems and QA requirements
- Completion of an applicable course from the Institute of Applied Technology - Construction will be highly regarded for more info on I-ATC Institute of Applied Technology - TAFE NSW
