We are looking for a Senior React Developer to lead the development of our modern, high-performance web applications. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our frontend architecture, mentoring team members, and driving technical excellence to solve complex challenges.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in our Sydney office.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable, and maintainable web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Architect and maintain our frontend infrastructure, including our component library, state management, and data-fetching strategies.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, accessibility, and performance across the team.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Mentor other developers through constructive code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of professional experience building, shipping, and maintaining large-scale web applications.
  • Experience with GraphQL (Apollo Client).
  • Expert proficiency in
    TypeScript
    and
    React
    , with a deep understanding of the modern ecosystem (including Hooks, Context API, and component lifecycle).
  • Demonstrated expertise in frontend testing; you must have strong experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like
    Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress/Playwright
    .
  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures and complex state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring.

Bonus Points For:

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Especially. GCP).
  • Experience with monorepo tooling (e.g., Nx, Turborepo).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong public portfolio.
