Broking Support, Facultative

Guy Carpenter is a global risk and reinsurance specialist. We are looking for a Junior Broker Support Officer to work with us in the Facultative Reinsurance team based in the Sydney Head Office at Barangaroo.

You need to have excellent communication skills and a track record for providing great customer service.

The purpose of this role is to support The Head of Broker Support Facultative. This will eventually lead you to support and assist our Broking team along with assisting internal and external stakeholders.

As a Junior Broker Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

• First line of support to our Head of Broker Support Facultative.
• Preparing new and existing broker contract documents.
• Processing broker business into our Singapore office.
• Communicate and manage relationships with internal and external business units on business and broker related queries.
• Assisting with ad hoc office related projects and initiatives where this is required
• You will also be required to undertake other tasks as reasonably requested by Management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in property or casualty insurance/reinsurance
• Demonstrated knowledge of the insurance life cycle
• Some experience working within insurance industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A passion for exceeding client expectations and delivering results
• Care for work colleagues and the clients we serve
• Must have advanced computer skills
