Brisbane, Queensland, Australia RWM Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Our client is seeking a motivated and organised Training Officer to join their team. You will be responsible for delivering practical and compliance-focused training to staff across the abattoir and cold store, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training to staff on the production floor, in the cold store, and other areas as required.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, procedures, and records.
  • Ensure all staff comply with workplace health & safety and food safety standards.
  • Assess employee competency and provide ongoing support to improve skills.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and opportunities.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in meat processing, abattoir, or cold store environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety and food safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and adapt training methods accordingly.
