About Us:SmallPaws Pet Hotel is an industry-leading, family-owned pet care boutique hotel, providing exclusive care services for small dog breeds and cats for over 32 years, idyllically situated on 5 acres on Sydney's iconic Northern Beaches.

About the role:

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Animal Attendant to join our small, long-standing team in this exciting and rare opportunity. You'll work exclusively with small and toy dog breeds and cats, providing them with the love and care they deserve.

  • Casual position
  • Perform animal care tasks such as (but not limited to) cleaning, administering medication, feeding, assessing animals, exercising and enrichment activities
  • Interact and care for small dogs and cats
  • Keep thorough records of the animals in care
  • Provide enrichment through play and scheduled activities
  • Assist the Reception Manager/Receptionist when required. This involves welcoming guests (dogs & cats) on arrival and pick-up

What We're Looking For:

-Must be able to work weekends and over school holidays periods

- Previous experience in the Animal Care Industry

- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team

- A keen eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness

- Confidence in making decisions and working within timeframes

- Fluent English skills and great communication

- Must have own car and ability to start shifts at 7:15 AM

- Motivated, reliable, and passionate about providing the best care for animals
