The Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to join the Payroll team in a full-time capacity. Based in Eight Mile Plains, this role offers flexible working hours and the chance to be part of a collaborative, high-performing environment.

You'll be responsible for the end-to-end payroll function across multiple sites, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery for a large and diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Interpret EBAs, Awards, and legislation to ensure correct pay calculations
  • Maintain payroll records, timesheets, leave balances, and related documentation
  • Provide payroll support and resolve employee enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance audits
  • Contribute to process improvements and payroll system enhancements

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll
  • Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and superannuation
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence interpreting Awards and EBAs

Desirable:

  • Experience in manufacturing, food processing environment
  • Familiarity with time & attendance systems
