The opportunity

ISOFT Software Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team in Sydney, NSW. This is a contract role, offering the chance to apply your expertise in database development and administration to support our growing business.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets to uncover insights and trends that drive business decision-making.
  • Design, develop and maintain efficient database systems to support data-driven initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and implement solutions
  • Automate data extraction, transformation and loading processes to improve data quality and timeliness
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on data access and reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in an IT or software development environment

  • Good experience in Core Skills:

  • SQL, Python & Alteryx

  • Power BI & Tableau tools
  • Excel
  • Intermediate level in using JIRA and Confluence tools, with agile experience in user story development.
  • Experience in collections, data/credit risk data is desired
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, business intelligence and data visualisation tools
