Acacia Hotel Services, established in January 2025, is swiftly making its mark in the Australian hospitality industry. With a portfolio of five hotels and a robust expansion strategy, the company is poised to redefine hotel management standards across the nation.

We're excited to announce a newly created role for a motivated and hands-on Multi-Hotel Accountant who's ready to be part of something big.

You'll work closely with our management company to help build a centralised accounting hub, putting systems and processes in place from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership, drive change, and be a key contributor as we evolve into a larger, more sophisticated hospitality business.

You'll be responsible for the financial performance of part of our hotel portfolio — including properties in East Melbourne, Carlton, and Forest Hill.

Job Description:

· Reporting to the Directors of Acacia Hotel Services

· Accounts payable function

· Accounts receivable function

· Payroll

· Perform general cashiering duties including Bank reconciliation

· Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow forecasts, and

financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making

· Audit transactions related to hotel revenue

About You

We're looking for a capable, all-round finance professional who can roll up their sleeves and get things done. You'll thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy building systems that support scalable growth.

· Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline

· Demonstrated experience and knowledge in XERO Accounting system

· Minimum 3–5 years in a accounting or financial role, preferably in hospitality.

· Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas & pivot tables).

· Demonstrated experience in variance analysis and/or internal audit processes is preferred

· Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and analytical thinking.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both finance and non-finance stakeholders

· Self-motivated and able to manage competing deadlines.
