MULTIPLE CHEF ROLES AVAILABLE ACROSS NEWCASTLE VENUES

Seeking CDPs to Sous Chef for all types of venues - Pubs, restaurants, high volume beach side venues

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the role, your duties may include:

  • Preparing and executing high-quality menu items at volume
  • Maintaining kitchen standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering, and waste management
  • Supporting menu planning and cost control initiatives
  • Training, mentoring, and supervising junior kitchen staff
  • Ensuring smooth service during peak trading periods
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working in high-volume kitchens (pub, bistro, or restaurant experience highly regarded)
  • Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining consistency
  • Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
