Komatsu is offering a career building opportunity for a Site Manager to join our esteemed Regional Service Team.

This pivotal role will have you at the helm of our Curragh Mammoth Mine site-based service team, guiding them to new heights of success and efficiency.

While this position is primarily focused on the Curragh site, your expertise may also be called upon to support other mine sites, offering variety and growth in your role.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, this role is responsible for efficiently managing daily site and business operations, which include ensuring site safety, maintaining equipment, responding to breakdowns, staff scheduling, customer interaction, and reporting as per our contractual obligations.

You will be an essential part of the site management team, fostering strong customer relationships both within the organisation and with external clients.

To be successful in this role you will need Mechanical/Electrical trade and or engineering qualifications with underground coal mining experience on continuous miners, shuttle cars and associated equipment.

In addition, you'll apply yourself naturally to:

  • Build and foster genuine relationships
  • Actively mentor, support and coordinate a team of service personnel
  • Monitor and report on product performance
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement processes
