About the role

Nurse Next Door Hawkesbury is seeking an experienced Community Nurse with expertise in wound care and catheterisation to join our team on a casual basis. Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in the Hawkesbury, Hills and or Blue Mountains area. What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and developing individualised care plans for clients
  2. Providing skilled nursing interventions, including wound management, catheterisation, medication administration, and other treatments
  3. Monitoring client health status and escalating any concerns or changes to the clinical team
  4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care
  5. Maintaining detailed clinical documentation and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
  6. Promoting client independence, dignity, and well-being through empathetic and person-centred care

What we're looking for

  1. Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience in a community nursing or aged care setting
  3. Demonstrated expertise in wound care management and catheterisation
  4. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  6. Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care
  7. Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends and public holidays
