Practice Nurse (EN) – General Practice

Location: Taree NSW

Casual – Flexible Hours Available

Are you a compassionate and experienced nurse looking to make a real impact in primary healthcare? Our friendly and supportive general practice in Taree is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse Enrolled to join our team.

About Us

We are a well-established, patient-centred medical practice committed to delivering high-quality care to our community. Our team includes GPs and administrative staff who work collaboratively in a positive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chronic disease management and care planning (GPMP/TCA)
  • Health assessments and immunisations
  • Wound care and dressings
  • ECGs, spirometry, and pathology collection (if trained)
  • Assisting with minor procedures
  • Patient triage and support
  • Maintaining infection control and cold chain compliance
  • Managing recalls and reminders using practice software
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as a Enrolled Nurse (EN)
  • Previous experience in general practice or primary care preferred
  • Proficient in Best Practice or similar software (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent communication, organisational and clinical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
