Smart Meter Technician – Full Time

Newcastle & Hunter Region

Are you a licensed electrician ready for full-time, consistent work – without the physical strain of crawling into roofs or under houses? NewSpark Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Smart Meter Technician to join our growing team, servicing the Newcastle and Hunter region.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with RDOs available, consistent job flow, and straightforward tasks. Perfect for those looking to apply their skills in a structured, supportive environment with long-term stability.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Install, upgrade, and commission smart electricity meters

  • Work independently at residential and light commercial sites

  • Follow safety standards and compliance procedures

  • Maintain accurate records using mobile job management tools

  • Deliver friendly and professional service to clients

Requirements:

  • NSW A-Grade Electrical Licence

  • White Card (General Construction Induction)

  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle

  • Metering experience preferred (but not essential – we provide training)

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a professional approach
