Service Electrician - Full Time Permanent (90M0673299) Newcastle, Australia

Our client is a global brand in the lift, elevator and crane industry with a customer service focus. Due to continued growth in the region we are looking for a Service Electrician to join their team in a full time permanent position.

Reporting into the service manager, this is an autonomous position suited to a motivated self-starter who enjoys managing their own time and running their own jobs.

Whats involved?
  • Inspections of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in elevator and escalator control systems, wiring, and components.
  • Rostered on call duties responsible for your region - Newcastle, Upper Hunter, Lower Mid-North Coast
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams
  • Installing new electrical and mechanical systems
  • Maintaining records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
  • Adhering rigorously to safety protocols and industry codes to ensure a secure working environment.
What we're looking for:
  • Valid Electrical licence
  • Experience as a service electrician, with a background in elevator or escalator systems being a bonus.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
  • Genuine commitment to safety.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to work on-call and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
