Wellbeing Support Coordinator (Mental Health) – Ipswich & Southern Downs

Full-time | Fixed Term Contract to 30 June 2026 (with possible extension)

$32–$35 p/h | Salary Sacrificing Available

HealthWISE is seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Coordinator to join our Ipswich-based wellbeing team. In this rewarding role, you'll provide high-intensity support coordination for people living with severe and complex mental illness—helping them build resilience, access services, and work towards recovery in a safe and supported way.

This position is ideal for someone with lived experience of mental health recovery or who has supported someone through it, and who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

About the Role:

  • Deliver community-based, person-centred support
  • Develop tailored Safety and Support Plans
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians, GPs, and service providers
  • Support clients to navigate the health system and improve social connectedness
  • Provide outreach with some travel and overnight stays required

About You:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health (or equivalent)
  • Personal experience with mental health recovery (own or as a carer)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Driver's licence, Blue Card (WWCC), and National Police Check required
