With a strong, professional property management team already in place, we're now seeking a motivated Assistant Property Manager based in Townsville, QLD, to support our local team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being out and about — attending open homes, assisting with inspections, and helping manage day-to-day property tasks.
About the Role
This is a hands-on assistant position designed to provide essential support to our Property Managers. You'll work closely with our senior property manager to ensure a smooth experience for both tenants and landlords. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to grow into managing your own portfolio, with ongoing training and support provided to help you step into a full Property Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and conduct routine inspections, entry and exit condition reports
- Assist with open homes and private viewings
- Support Property Managers when needed with leasing and maintenance coordination
- Deliver high-quality service in line with our agency's standards and reputation
- Handle basic tenant inquiries and escalate as required
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 6 months of experience in an assistant property management or property support role
- A current Certificate of Registration (Qld) lodged with the Office of Fair Trading
- A valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Confidence using software such as PropertyMe (or similar platforms)
- A strong understanding of QLD tenancy legislation (or willingness to learn)
Additional Information
- This is a remote role, however, regular on-site attendance is required for inspections, open homes, and property visits.
- You'll be supported by a collaborative, nation-wide team and offered training and development opportunities as you grow with us.
