Join Our Team as a Senior Food Technologist – Drive Innovation and Growth

We're searching for a passionate and forward-thinking Senior Food Technologist to join our Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and expansion into new markets by leading the development of unique and innovative products.

In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented and experienced team to manage projects from initial concept through to prototyping, scale-up, full commercialisation and beyond. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of our product portfolio across a diverse range of categories and technologies.

This position is ideal for a motivated professional seeking new challenges, career growth, and exposure to a dynamic and surprising mix of product innovations.

What you will need to succeed
  • Tertiary Qualification/s in Food Technology or similar.
  • 6 + years' experience as a Food Technologist.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from concept to full commercialisation.
  • An energetic, hands-on approach to product and process development with a drive to succeed within a supportive, team-based environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Industry knowledge, and a good understanding of the Food Standards Code, with an awareness of trends in nutrition, consumer, and food industry.
  • A background in developing nutritional products for general health and specific diseases.

Advantageous Experience

  • Formal training or qualifications in thermal processing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydrocolloids and their applications.
  • Experience coaching and leading a direct report.
