Your Impact:

As a Laboratory Technologist, you'll support our brewing and packaging operations by managing beverage and in-process sample testing to ensure quality, safety, and compliance. You'll deliver accurate analytical data to key stakeholders, maintain laboratory equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enable our business goals to be met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain laboratory equipment calibration, servicing, and records
  • Manage sampling, preparation, and testing in line with Asahi methods and standards
  • Deliver accurate and timely analytical results, escalating non-conformance and safety issues
  • Support documentation, SOP development, and training for laboratory processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements and drive operational improvements

About You:

  • Tertiary chemistry-related degree qualifications with proven experience operating in an analytical chemist capacity, ideally within the food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and technical report writing
  • Skilled in maintaining and calibrating lab equipment (HPLC/GC desirable)
  • Organised, detail-focused, with strong communication skills and able to manage multiple priorities, autonomously.
  • Knowledge of OHSE standards for laboratories and ISO/IEC 17025 compliance desirable
