Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer

Location: Northern Beaches, Sydney

Salary: Up to $150K (competitive, based on experience)

About the RoleOur client are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Sprinkler

Designer to join a well-established engineering consultancy on Sydney's Northern Beaches. This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll take ownership of fire sprinkler and hydrant system designs across a range of projects, including commercial, education, health, aged care, and community developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and document fire sprinkler and hydrant systems (wet services) from concept to completion
  • Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and reports using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia
  • Collaborate with hydraulic designers, project managers, and clients
  • Attend meetings and provide technical advice and support
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth

About You

  • Minimum 5 years experience in fire sprinkler and hydrant design
  • FPAS Accredited (Essential)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (essential)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in hydraulic services (highly regarded)
