Established in early 2000's, our client emerged as a key player in the Fire industry as a reliable provider in Fire Safety solutions, from design and install to test and inspect. Their boutique offering in service delivery ensures a tailored and unique approach for each customer, while also dedicating to provide an excellent employee experience and people-focused environment across Australia.

Due to ongoing growth and success (they have recently secured their 3 largest projects on record), this well-established business is looking for an additional Fire Designer to join this busy and dynamic design and engineering team.

They specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining fire systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting, and other essential fire safety equipment. Looking For Candidates Who Are:

  4. Experienced, with at least 3+ years of recent experience in designing wet (sprinkler) and dry (detection) fire protection systems.

Ideal Technical Skills:

  1. Familiarity with the BCA and Australian Standards, such as AS2118, AS2419, AS1670, and AS1668.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit , and applicable codes and standards
  3. Experience preparing sprinkler, dry, and fire hydrant/extinguisher shop drawings.
  4. If you hold a valid and current FSD certification and can sign off the design the role will offer a much higher salary package.
