We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team
An exciting opportunity for the Geriatric Evaluation Management and Older Person Complex Discharge team.
About the role
Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.
The ward will be operational 24 hrs day 7 days a week and staffed by a multidisciplinary team. The facility is equipped with internal and outdoor therapy areas with an on-demand food service model to compliment therapy programs.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Advanced clinical and problem-solving skills;
- Expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management;
- Ability to work without a collegiate/team structure;
- Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
