About the role

Construct Personnel is seeking experienced Plant and Machine Operators to join our team on a casual basis in the western Suburbs. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of a variety of construction equipment and machinery, contributing to the successful delivery of major construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and maintain a range of construction plant and machinery, including excavators, loaders, Backhoe and rollers.
  • Conduct pre-start checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the completion of construction tasks and projects within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to support the successful delivery of projects

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience operating a variety of construction plant and machinery, with a strong understanding of equipment capabilities and limitations. Final Trim and GPS operation.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating construction plant and machinery is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently, with a keen focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing job site conditions.
  • All required tickets and licences for operating the specified machinery are mandatory.
  • Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship is required for this position.
