• Permanent part time (0.8FTE, Monday to Thursday)
• $48.85 per hour + 13  % superannuation + salary packaging
• Perth based role, availability to travel to regional locations required

The WA Recovery College Alliance (WARCA) aims to create positive change and hope by bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities in a safe, welcoming and flexible learning environment which enables the sharing of lived expertise and professional knowledge. The College promotes mental health and wellbeing (recovery) for all throughout the community, through providing a range of courses which offer knowledge, skills, and tools that support people to find greater meaning, confidence, and enjoyment in everyday life.

WARCA courses and workshops are underpinned by co-design and co-production values and principles and operates according to the WARCA Integrity Framework. The courses create spaces for connection, shared learning and new possibilities.

The position

This exciting position draws on the professional skills of a facilitator who is passionate and experienced in transformational education. This role will assist coordinating the educational elements of the Recovery College, and support developing new Recovery College educators

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Provide guidance, mentoring and collaborative support to Education Officers, fostering effective teamwork within the Education team
• Coordinate the delivery and iterative development of the Educator Foundation Program (EFP)
• Coordinate the design and development of Educator professional development and co-facilitate sessions where required
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the WARCA Integrity Framework, related Educator policies, and quality assurance processes

Minimum qualifications:

• Degree level qualification in education or relevant professional experience
• Australian Working Rights
• Current drivers license

Candidates will also either have or be willing to obtain the following:

• National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
• Working with Children Card
