About Us:

KidsCare Pre-Kindy and OOSH is a 40 place, independent, family-owned childcare Centre. We offer high quality childcare and outside of school care to our longstanding loyal families.

Due to increase demand of our service we are seeking to expand our team by adding an experienced ECT or Diploma Qualified Educator.

We are passionate about creating a safe and happy environment for children, providing them with the quality, care and education by committed and dedicated Educators who are encouraged to grow and succeed by working together as a dedicated team.

The Applicant:

The successful applicant will be someone that is highly motivated and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood and Education and Care or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, has excellent communication skills and demonstrates the ability to use initiative and works well in a team environment.

You will work under the guidance of an experienced management team and assist in providing a program tailored to the needs of children from 3+. You will also be assisting with our before school care, school holiday program and Kindergarten program.

You:

  • Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, or Hold a Diploma or working towards a Diploma in Early Childhood
  • Confident, fun and enthusiastic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Works well within a team
  • Understands the importance of effective supervision and care of the children
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Valid First Aid Certificate including CPR
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Child Protection certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

The Role:

  • To work as a team member and assist Educators and the Coordinator to plan an engaging child-initiated, play-based program.
  • Care and Supervision of children
  • Motivating and guiding the team
  • Take on the role as responsible person in charge
  • Engaging with children in their play
  • Work as part of a team to maintain a clean and safe learning environment
  • Permanent Part-Time hours
