Disability Support Worker -Wynnum

Are you an experienced and compassionate support worker passionate about supporting people with disabilities and making a positive difference in people's lives?

Alpha Care and Share is currently seeking a Disability Support Worker to support NDIS participants in North Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support participants with daily living tasks, emotional wellbeing, and community participation
  • Encourage independence while ensuring a safe and supportive environment
  • Implement strategies from Positive Behaviour Support plans
  • Accurately complete documentation and shift notes
  • Provide respectful and culturally sensitive care

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with , stroke Muscular destrophy, psychosocial disabilities, Autism spectrum disorder/ABI.
  • Own car and Confident in driving in Brisbane.
  • Availabilities during weekdays afternoons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Flexible availability and a strong commitment to person-centred care

Mandatory Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
