Kempe Engineering, a leader in engineering, fabrication, hydraulic, machining and site services solutions is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our George Town operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a technically minded individual who can accurately prepare quotations across a wide range of services including;

  • Site services, fabrication and maintenance tendering (including site visits and client liaison)

The role requires strong commercial awareness, supplier knowledge and the ability to build trusted client relationships while delivering competitive and compliant costings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for fabrication and site services/maintenance projects.
  • Conduct site visits to review scopes, gather details and support accurate quoting.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications and client scopes.
  • Source and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and service providers.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships ensuring repeat business opportunities.
  • Provide technical input to support proposals, tenders and project managers.
  • Ensure estimates are delivered on time, accurate and commercially sound.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in estimating within engineering, fabrication, site services or industrial maintenance.
  • Well-developed supplier network with in-depth market knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple quotes, site visits and deadlines.
  • Client-focused mindset with a drive to support business growth.
