The Opportunity
Due to our sustained growth, we are currently seeking a
Structural Engineer
to join our team in Adelaide. A talented engineer with experience on projects ranging from conceptual design to detailed engineering.

This position reports directly to the Structural Team Lead and involves working on a diverse array of projects across the Energy, Chemicals and Mineral Processing industries. You'll be involved in the entire detailed design process, from concept to detailed design.

Key responsibilities:

• Structural engineering for processing plant facilities from concept through to detailed design and construction.
• Performing design calculations for structural steel work and structural concrete and providing input to the designer team.
• Performing tasks and deliverables within the agreed budget, schedule and project scope.
• Prepare complete technical specifications, engineering scope, and other documentation.
• Assist with proposals to provide professional services.
• Support continuous improvement of engineering standards, systems, and processes.
• Actively collaborate and influence others through positive behaviours.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
If you're a self-motivated, results-driven individual passionate about delivering high-quality structural engineering designs and demonstrate the following attributes;

• Minimum 3 years' experience in design/consultancy/operational environment in an engineering capacity
• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural)
• Experience in Heavy Industry, Minerals Processing, Energy or Chemicals industry preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in performing design calculations.
• Provide design input to and check 3D models and drawings.
• Sound understanding of project management principles and controls.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
• Attention to detail, clear and concise technical report writing.
• Proactive and goal-oriented approach to work.
