About the Agency

As the steward for digitally enabling Australia's health system, the Agency plays a key role in coordinating national engagement, delivery, and adoption of digital health to facilitate person-centred, connected healthcare. Our responsibilities span national digital health services and systems, including My Health Record, Electronic Prescriptions, and the MyHealth App.

About the Role

Join our Technology Services Division, the heart of digital health innovation. We're entrusted with the operation and enhancement of a reliable, secure national digital health infrastructure and health support systems.

As Release Coordinator you will be responsible for:


• Planning, scheduling and coordinating the release of software or products. This involves working closely with various teams, such as project, development, quality assurance, operations and contracts, to establish, monitor and control release timelines and milestones.


• Serve as a central point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the release process. This includes developers, testers, product managers, project manager, service providers and others. Effective communication is essential to ensure that everyone is aligned with the release plan, and any changes or issues are promptly addressed.


• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the release is a key responsibility. Release coordinators need to anticipate potential issues that could impact the release timeline or quality and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.


• Conducting post-release evaluations to assess the success of the release, gather feedback from stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement in future releases.

What You'll Bring


• Experience managing enterprise-level release cycles in complex multi-vendor ICT environments highly desirable.


• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall methodologies and enterprise release and change processes.


• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence.


• Experience in public sector ICT frameworks, exposure to cloud deployments, and knowledge of security and government operational environments.

Eligibility


• Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.


• Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.


• Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Salary: This role offers between $98,045 - $110,612 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
