Drive Car Hire is a Tasmanian-owned car rental business operating a fleet of standard, electric and performance cars across Tasmania.

The role:

As a Casual Customer Experience Representative you will work as part of a team at our Head Office in the Hobart city centre.

As a 7-day a week business, we provide flexible scheduling. Working days and hours may be subject to change to meet the business' requirements. Casual roles are well-suited to students with availability over weekends and holiday periods.

What you can expect on a day-to-day basis:

  • Being a first point of contact for customer enquiries.
  • Handling enquiries (in person, phone & email) in a timely manner.
  • Handling pre-arrival procedures in a timely manner.
  • Conducting all customer interactions in a personable, professional manner and on a timely basis.
  • Provide a service that meets and exceeds customer expectations by imparting knowledge of vehicles along local insights and recommendations, where appropriate.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Comply with safety and security standards
  • Co-operating with the wider Operations and Vehicle Quality teams to ensure a quality experience is delivered to each and every customer

We are a small, growing business and all team members will be involved in the bigger picture, participating in team and company-wide meetings and events.  It also means that team members need to willing to support others across the business from time to time.

Proactive team members will have the opportunity to contribute to growing our business, by helping us continually improve the way we work to stay at the top of our game.

Opportunities for progression to permanent part-time or full-time may be available for the right candidate.
