Employment & Workplace Relations Lawyers - Junior & Senior Roles

Work with a well-regarded team on high-quality matters including those in the education sector.

A highly respected mid tier firm is seeking both a junior (1-3 years PAE) and a senior (5+ years PAE) lawyer to join its established and growing Employment & Workplace Relations team.

This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of employment law matters with a highly regarded group of lawyers, in an environment that balances meaningful, complex work with a supportive and collaborative culture.

The Opportunity

You'll be part of a close-knit team working with a range of clients. The role includes both advisory and litigious work, with opportunities to build strong client relationships and develop your technical expertise.

You will be involved in:

  • Advising on employment contracts, workplace policies and compliance
  • Managing unfair dismissal and general protections claims
  • Advising on enterprise bargaining, industrial action and industrial relations strategy
  • Handling workplace investigations and disciplinary matters
  • Assisting with discrimination, bullying and harassment claims
  • Representing clients in the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals
  • Delivering training and workplace seminars for clients

Junior Lawyer (1-3 PAE)

  • Experience in employment or workplace relations law
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn from senior practitioners

Senior Lawyer (5+ PAE)

  • Broad employment law experience, ideally including both advisory and litigious matters
  • Comfortable managing files and client relationships with minimal supervision
  • Interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development
