The Role: Remedial Estimator

We're in search of a dynamic individual to fill the role of Remedial Estimator in our Major Projects Division. This pivotal position involves estimating, tender preparation, and submission, covering methodology, preliminary program development, and essential documentation completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess tenders to determine project scope and size, sourcing additional information as needed.

Prepare tender estimates using various methods, collaborating with BD & Operations on proposed methodologies and construction programs.

Liaise with clients during tender stages to gather necessary requirements.

Follow up on projects post-submission and maintain accurate records.

Comply with and improve Quality Assurance procedures related to tendering and tender review.

Attend and manage handover meetings with construction personnel.

Skills & Experience Required:

Degree in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent).

5-15 years' experience in Estimation within the Remedial, Civil, or Construction industry.

Experience in Facades, Remediation, Concrete Repair, Blast & Paint, or Structures is desirable.

Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of technical standards in preparing estimates and project costings.

Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work autonomously.
