The Red Rooster Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the restaurant while ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and team performance. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Manager drives business results by focusing on operational efficiency, team development, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with Red Rooster standards and procedures.
- Manage food preparation, cooking processes, and service to maintain high quality and consistency.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards are always met.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Manage cash handling, banking, and financial reporting accurately.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate team members for high-performing operations.
- Create staff schedules that align business needs with labour budgets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions when required.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-focused work environment.
- Guarantee an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high service standards.
- Address customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure dining and service areas are clean, efficient, and welcoming.
- Achieve sales targets and manage store profitability through cost control and sales growth.
- Analyse sales trends, KPIs, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns effectively.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or quick-service restaurant management preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and workplace safety requirements.
- Competency with scheduling, inventory management, and basic financial reporting.
