Assistant in Nursing (AIN) – Shoalhaven Region

We're currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Assistant in Nursings (AIN's) to join our casual team in the beautiful Shoalhaven region. This role involves working across a range of aged care facilities from Nowra to St George's Basin, providing high-quality care and support to residents.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting residents with personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
  • Supporting residents with mobility and safe transferring
  • Assisting with meals, including feeding where required
  • Monitoring and documenting changes in resident health or behaviour
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
  • Following care plans, facility procedures, and infection control guidelines
  • Following directions from Registered Nurses (RNs) and facility management

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
  • At least 6 months experience in similar role
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of aged care standards, policies, and procedures
  • Willingness to obatin mandatory compliance documents
